Liza Emanuele is a well-loved and established Australian fashion designer with a career spanning more than 20 years. Best known for her trademark sexy dresses and glamorous high-end styling that celebrates the feminine spirit, her must-have looks are always a “sure thing” and keep her admirers coming back for more and more.

Her passion, dedication and expertise with fashion have taken her across the globe, however her biggest reward to date is still from the women who love wearing her clothes and adore how they make them feel. Everyone who comes in contact with Liza can’t help but be affected by her friendly personality and down to earth attitude as she approaches challenges with passion, creativity and gusto.

Her design skills and experience are underpinned by a life-time passion for style and glamour. She is well regarded by peers and has become one of her home town, Adelaide’s, most popular personalities.

The Facts

Her career started formally when she studied fashion design at the famous Instituto Maragoni in Milan Italy, and then worked with Italian labels Fast, Killer Loop and Think Pink in the early 90s.

In 1993, she returned to Australia and for seven years worked on the design teams for George Gross & Harry Who and Sportsgirl.

In 2001, Liza successfully launched her first label It Girl.  With time her style evolved to a point where in 2006 she was ready to formally launch her signature fashion label, Liza Emanuele.

In 2008, her business expanded with the launch of Emanuele Bride, stunning couture and ready-to-wear bridal gowns with gorgeous bridesmaids, flower girls and special occasion dressing added to the fashion stable.

In 2009 she launched her first signature retail shop on King William Road, Hyde Park, Adelaide which goes from strength to strength.  Her showroom epitomizes her style and caters to brides and fashion-lovers alike.

Over her career, she has dressed many top international names including Delta Goodrem, Sophie Monk, Isabel Lucas, Holly Brisley and Evangeline Lilly as well as Adelaide’s most famous duo, panda bears, Wang Wang and Funi. She has designed show stopper Brownlow Medal dresses that have often ended up as front page news the following day.
